Make sure to register your dogs and cats if you live in the City of Wayne during the month of May. Registration fees during this period will be $6.00 per dog or cat and licenses can be obtained at the Wayne Police Department. More information can be found under the Community Events tab.

UNDATED (KTCH/KCTY) - In Community events today, there will be a Laurel Community Christmas Coffee at Taylor Seeds from 9:00-11:00 this morning.
Northeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership will be providing immunizations and Lead (Pb) screenings for children from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the United Methodist Church in Wayne. NENCAP will provide screenings for $10 per child. Santa’s Story Time at the Wayne Public Library will be a very, “Charlie Brown Christmas,” at 6:30 P.M. Santa Claus will be on hand to take pictures and find out what you want for Christmas. There will be games, snacks, stories, some “groovy 70’s shopping mall ornaments” to create, and of course “A Charlie Brown Christmas Special” will be on the big screen. Children of all ages and abilities are always welcome at the library.
