Two Stanton County Accidents Saturday Night Send Three To Hospital

STANTON - Two separate car accidents in Stanton County Saturday night sent three people to the hospital. According to a releaes from Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger, the first crash too place just before 5:00 pm on highway 275 about two miles west of Pilger.
Unger says an SUV driven by 16-year-old Samantha Liermann of Pilger, left the road after crossing the center line, and then struck an embankment and rolled several times. Liermann and her passenger, 14-year-old Kari Liermann, were taken to Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk for treatment. The sisters were wearing seatbelts. The SUV is considered a total loss. The second crash happened at around 7:00 pm on highway 24, three miles west of Stanton. A vehicle driven by 52-year-old Leona Arbogast of Norfolk hit a deer.  Arbogast was taken to the hospital where she was treated and released.
