KEARNEY - Wayne High School’s production of “The Attempted Murder of Peggy Sweetwater” placed third overall at the Nebraska School Activities Association’s Class B Play Production Contest held in Kearney at the Merryman Performing Arts Center on Friday, December 7, 2012. Alliance was named champion with Milford taking the runner-up slot. Kendra Liska, Emma Osnes, and Parker Wren were named outstanding performers for the show which was directed by Heidi Thompson and Terri Hypse.
