Hartington CC Takes Doubleheader Over LCC

HARTINGTON (KTCH/KCTY) - Hartington Cedar Catholic hosted Laurel-Concord/Coleridge in a girls and boys varsity doubleheader last night. In the girls’ game, the Trojans took a 24-22 lead into halftime and would hang on to eventually win by five, 51-46. Katelyn Dickes was the leading scorer for Cedar Cathloic with 18 points. Cameron Eddie was one of two Bears players in double digits with 19 points, followed by Audra Corbit with 12. In the boys’ game, the Trojans jumped out ahead quickly, leading 36-19 at halftime. The second half efforts would continue strongly for CC, as they won by a final of 74-47. The Trojans boasted three players in double digits, James Kaiser led with 19, Grant Howell had 14 and Logan Feilmeier had 12. For Laurel-Concord/Coleridge, Mitch Klooz and Dillan Wolfgram each had 10 points.
