WSC Women Now 22nd In The Nation

WAYNE - The Wayne State College women’s basketball team is ranked 22nd in the latest USA Today Sports Division II Top 25 Coaches’ Poll released Tuesday afternoon.
The Wildcats dropped three spots from the previous poll released December 18th received a total of 101 points in voting conducted by various Division II head coaches from across the country. The Wildcats went 2-1 last week, defeating Chadron State 85-47, losing to Concordia-St. Paul 56-46 and beating Minnesota State 78-56. The loss on Friday to Concordia-St. Paul snapped a 52-game home win streak at Rice Auditorium for the Wildcats, the longest home court win streak in NCAA women’s basketball at the time.
