Funeral services for Linda Weible age 65 of Wayne will be held on Friday January 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Wayne. She passed away Saturday December 15, 2012 at Providence Medical Center in Wayne. There is no visitation.

    Linda Marie Weible was born July 4, 1947, in Wayne to Norris and Helen (Pfeiffer) Weible.  She was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in Winside and confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wayne.  Linda graduated from Wayne-Carroll High School and earned her nursing degree at Omaha Technical College.  She worked at the Lutheran Hospital in Omaha, Wayne Care Center, and following her employment at the Norfolk Regional Center in Norfolk she retired.  Linda enjoyed working with crafts and antiques and opened and operated Country Treasures, a craft and antique shop in Wayne. Linda’s friends were a big part of her life and very special to her.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.
    Linda is survived by her mother, Helen Weible of Wayne; brother, Dean (Ardis) Weible of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Judy (Bill) McKnight of Lakewood, CO; nephew, Brett Weible and nieces Heather Weible Winchester and Jill McKnight Yocom.
    Linda was preceded in death by her grandparents; father, Norris in 2010, and a nephew, Jed McKnight in 2007.
     Linda’s family wants to express their heartfelt thank you to all the doctors and staff at Providence Medical Center for their compassionate and competent care of Linda during her stay.
    Linda’s family appreciates your thoughts and kindness and invites you to lunch in the church fellowship hall following the service.
