Funeral services for Betty Diediker age 82 of Dixon will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Martinsburg Monday at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Martinsburg Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with
family present. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Martinsburg. Officiate  Rev. Claus Raab.
Memorials may be directed to the family for designation at a later date.
She passed away Wednesday at a Sioux City Hospital.

    Betty Jean Diediker was born September 8, 1930, at Lincoln    to Alfred and Amalia (Fricke) Hinz. She graduated from Benson High School in Omaha in 1948.  Betty married Duane Diediker, February 24, 1951, at First Trinity Lutheran Church in  Omaha.  They owned and operated a dairy farm in Dixon County until moving into Dixon in 1986.  Betty enjoyed cooking and socializing at Euni’s Palace in Dixon for twenty five years. She was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Martinsburg where she served as church organist, was a Sunday School Teacher for forty years, and a member of the Ladies Aid.  
    Betty is survived by her children, Kenneth (Joyce) Diediker of Dixon, Kevin (Jo) Diediker of Dakota City; Euni Diediker of Dixon, Carol Maaske of Sioux City, IA, and Ruth (Bruce) Drake of Ohiowa; daughter-in-law, Pat (Terry) Reuter of Lenexa, KS;  eighteen grandchildren;  twenty-three great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Vera Diediker of Laurel and Sandie Maynard of Carmel, IN; nieces and nephews.
    Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Duane in 2002; son, Keith in 1985; son-in-law Bob Maaske in 2009; brother, Rev. Alfred Hinz in 2009; and sister-in-law, Eleanor Hinz.
    Betty’s family appreciates your thoughts and kindness and invites you to lunch in the church fellowship hall following the committal service.
