WAYNE (KTCH/KCTY) - The Wayne High girls’ basketball team was in action last night. The Lady Blue Devils were at home hosting the visiting Cadets of West Point-Beemer in a special Pink Out night. Wayne would pick up the win in decisive fashion, using six three-pointers as a team on the way to a 48-28 win. Sarah Maxson led Wayne in scoring with 11 points, and was followed closely by Victoria Kranz with 10 points. With the win, the lady Blue Devils are now 9-9 on the year.
