WAYNE (KTCH/KCTY) - A preliminary hearing has been requested by a Carroll woman who has been charged with two Class III felonies in Wayne County Court. 35-year-old Mandi Fernau was charged with theft by unlawful taking and second-degree forgery after she allegedly stole more than $36,000 from Doctors Burrows and Holloway Family Dentristy in Wayne in a time frame between February of 2011 and April 2012. Fernau’s preliminary hearing in Wayne County Court is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 8, at 2:00 pm.
