Dust Triggers Fire Alarm At Wayne High School

Posted: 01 February, 2013

WAYNE (KTCH/KCTY) - Fire alarms were triggered at Wayne High School this morning, due to a system malfunction. Superintendent Mark Lenihan said that dust that settled from the construction work done in the school clogged an air duct, and when the duct started, it kicked dust into the air which triggered the alarm. Lenihan said the ducts are being cleaned and the problem will be solved.
