LINCOLN (AP) - Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman says he plans to begin a search Monday to replace Lieutenant Governor Rick Sheehy, who resigned abruptly following questions into his use of a state cell phone to make calls to multiple women who are not his wife.
Heineman said in a press conference yesterday that he will appoint a new lieutenant governor in the coming weeks. Sheehy's wife, Connie, filed for a divorce last July after nearly 29 years of marriage.
