Blue Devil Boys Advance To District Finals

WISNER (KTCH/KCTY) - The Wayne High boys’ basketball team competed against West Point-Beemer in the final round of the C1-7 Subdistrict at Wisner-Pilger High School last night. Points were at a premium, as Wayne led just 17-10 at halftime. The Blue Devils would rebound with 22 second have points, as Wayne went on to win 39-26. Wayne’s Grant Anderson led all scorers with 16 points, while Jalen Barry added 13. With the win, the Wayne boys are now 22-4 on the year, and will face the winner of the Norfolk Catholic vs. Boone Central/Newman Grove game scheduled for tonight.
