Girls' State Basketball Continues In Lincoln

LINCOLN (KTCH/KCTY) - The first round of the girls’ state basketball tournament got underway yesterday in Lincoln. Scores from the day included, in Class C2, Homer over Aquinas Catholic 54-39. In Class D1, Pender downed Palmer 70-30, and Emerson-Hubbard beat Friend 52-45. Our coverage of the state tournament continues today with a pair of games. In C2 action, it’s Homer taking on #1 Crofton at 10:45. And this evening at 7:00, it’s a northeast Nebraska matchup of Pender vs. Emerson-Hubbard.
