Funeral services for Dianne Anderson age 82 of Laurel will be held on Wednesday April 24 at 10:30 a.m. at St.
Mary’s Catholic Church in Laurel. She died Saturday at Providence Medical Center in Wayne. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. with a Vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Laurel Cemetery in Laurel. Memorials may be directed to the family. Arrangements are with Hasemann Funeral Home in Laurel.

     Dianne Charlotte Anderson was born August 13, 1930, on a farm southeast of Randolph to Dave and Luella (Bohnson) Kuhl.  She lived there until the family moved to Dixon in 1941.  Dianne graduated from Dixon High School in 1947.  She attended Briar Cliff College, transferred to Wayne State College in 1973, and graduated with a B.A. Degree in Elementary Education.  She taught school for thirty years, twenty-four of those teaching in Laurel-Concord Schools.  Dianne married Arnold “Ole” Anderson February 18, 1950, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Dixon and they lived in the Laurel area all of their married life.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Laurel V.F.W., American Legion, Cedar View Country Club, and a special baseball team.                  Dianne is survived by two daughters, Teri (Dave) Norris of Bloomfield, Tami (Dennis) Timmermann of Omaha; sons, Tom (Jan) Anderson of Wynot and Todd (Barb) Anderson of McCool Junction: seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; one step great-great-grandchild; brothers, Harry (Maddy) Kuhl of Gilbert, AZ  and Lynn (Anita) Kuhl of Laurel; sister, Deb Ankeny of Mission Viejo, CA; nieces and nephews.                                                                                     
    Dianne was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ole in 2003; son, Troy in 1966.
    Dianne’s family appreciates your thoughts and kindness and invites you to lunch in St. Mary’s Faith Community Hall following the committal service.
