Posted: 20 May, 2013

LINCOLN (AP) - USA Basketball has announced that Nebraska's Jordan Hooper has made the 12-player roster for the Women's World University Games (WWUG). The two-time All-Big Ten forward earned a spot on the team after a three-day tryout in Colorado Springs that included 33 of the nation's top college players. The World University Games start July 8 in Russia. Hooper is among five players who will be making their first appearances for the U.S. squad. The team will be coached by Oklahoma's Sherri Coale.
