 Funeral services for Dale Stoltenberg age 77 of Carroll will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Wayne
on Wednesday May 29 at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Wayne on Wednesday 9:00 a.m. to service time. Interment with Military Rites at Elmwood Cemetery in Carroll. He died Friday at his home near Carroll
Memorials may be directed to the family. Arrangements are with Hasemann Funeral Home in Wayne.

Dale Eugene Stoltenberg was born May 14, 1936, on a farm near Carroll to Allen and Wilma (Mills) Stoltenberg. He graduated from Carroll High School and received his Masters Degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He served in the United States Army from January 1955 to January 1957, at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Dale married Norma Lee Volwiler December 26, 1954, in Carroll. Over the years, Dale worked at Lincoln Foundation Seed Division, Wayne Farmers National Company, and First National Bank in Wayne. Most of his life he was a farmer and Real Estate Broker owning and operating Stoltenberg Partners RE Brokerage office in Wayne. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Wayne.


Dale is survived by his wife, Norma Lee; their children, Dianne (Vince) Leighty of Lincoln; Verlyn (Holly) Stoltenberg of Carroll; Beth (Kevin) Ellis of Omaha; sister, Lois (Leonard) Townsend of San Bruno, CA; brothers, Donald (Beverly) Stoltenberg, Dennis (Dawn) Stoltenberg, Bryan (Kathy) Stoltenberg all of Omaha; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.


Dale is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Annabelle Peterson; brothers-in-law, Robert Peterson and Don Harmeier.
