 Services for Renee Jensen age 61 of Wayne will be held at 10:30 am on Friday May 31, 2013 at the United Methodist Church in Laurel. She passed away Tuesday at CareAge of Wayne. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5-8pm at Hasemann Funeral Home in Wayne. Interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne. Memorials may be directed to the family. Arrangements are with Hasemann Funeral Home of Wayne.

Renee Lynne Jensen was born December 15, 1951, in Sioux City, IA to Roland and Dorothy (Karnes) Huetig. She graduated from Laurel High School in 1970, and Stewarts Beauty College in Sioux City, IA. Renee married Larry Jensen, June 23, 1973, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Laurel. She was a beautician from 1971 until 2012, working in several salons having her own chair.

Renee is survived by her husband, Larry; sisters, Diane (Gerold) Herrick of Edmonds, WA, and Linda (Dick) Campbell of Seward; brother, Scott (Maggie) Huetig of Concord; uncle, Cleo (Joyce) Karnes of Hartington; nieces and nephews.

Renee was preceded in death by her parents; nephew, Brian Huetig; uncle, Dean Karnes; aunts, Doris Morten, Joan Goodwin; and her father and mother-in-law, Pete and Ruby Jensen.
