LINCOLN (AP) – Nebraska U.S. Senate hopeful Shane Osborne is reporting that his campaign raised nearly $234,000 during the quarter that ended last month.
The Republican candidate’s campaign made that announcement Monday. An Osborn spokesman says all of the money was raised in June. The former Nebraska state treasurer and Norfolk native is seeking to replace outgoing GOP Sen. Mike Johanns, who is not seeking re-election in 2014. Osborn was the first candidate to declare his candidacy.
