Wind Energy Project In NE Nebraska To Power 60,000 Homes

WAKEFIELD - A Wind Energy project in Dixon County that will involve over 100 landowners and 20,000 acres is currently in the works.
Lenexa, Kansas-based TradeWind Energy says their Rattlesnake Creek project will be located on land between the northeast Nebraska towns of Allen, Emerson and Wakefield. According to TradeWind’s website, when completed, the Rattlesnake Creek project will produce enough power for approximately 60,000 homes. The power from the project will be marketed to both local and regional utilities.
