Funeral services for Eleanor Fuoss Age 81 of Winside will be held at the United Methodist Church in
Winside on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.  Officiates will be Rev. Judy Carlson and Rev. Lauren Rudolph. Visitation will be held at the United Methodist Church in Winside on Friday from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Arrangements with Hasemann Funeral Home of Winside. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne. She passed away Tuesday at Careage Campus Care in Wayne.

    Eleanor M. Fuoss was born July 25, 1932, at Winside, to Carl and Alice Thies.  She attended country school at District #29 near Winside.  Eleanor married Marvin Fuoss December 14, 1952.  They farmed north of Winside for 22 years.  Eleanor served lunches at farm sales with Helen Holtgrew and Dorothy Nelsen, and was later employed at the Norfolk Senior Center.  She enjoyed quilting and most of all being a farm wife.  Eleanor was a member of the United Methodist Church and Ladies Aid in Winside.
    Eleanor is survived by her children, Dennis Fuoss of Winside and Sandra Fuoss of Snyder; grandchildren, Sueanne (Rex) Larsen, Crissy Ferris, Brian Fuoss, Michael Damme, and Matthew Van Tassell; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
    Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvin February 14, 1992; brothers, Ed Thies and Robert Thies.   
    Eleanor’s family appreciates your thoughts and kindness and invites you to lunch in the United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall following the committal service.
