Posted: 09 September, 2013

OMAHA - The public and members of the media are invited to attend a series of events planned for this week across the state to mark the official launch of Nebraska State Senator Beau McCoy's campaign for the Republican nomination for Governor. The events will range from a formal announcement and rally at the Omaha campaign headquarters, to a multi-city Telephone Town Hall meeting, an appearance at Husker Harvest Days, and several Greater Nebraska Meet & Greet events.

The campaign will also launch a social media effort related to the kickoff tour called "Come Along with Beau" on Facebook and Twitter. It will allow supporters to follow the Senator's progress as he travels throughout the state and join in the discussions he has with fellow Nebraskans about the issues that matter to them and the future of the state.

It all begins at 9:00AM on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at the McCoy for Governor Campaign Headquarters in Omaha where Senator McCoy will formally announce his candidacy. His wife, Shauna, and their four children, along with his parents and other members of his family, plus a large gathering of supporters will be on hand to see him
off on his journey across our great state.

Additional stops along the tour on Tuesday the 10th include Lincoln and Grand Island, followed by a Telephone Town Hall in Kearney, Beatrice, Fairbury, Auburn and Nebraska City.

On Wednesday the 11th, the tour will continue with events in McCook, North Platte, Sidney, and Scottsbluff.

On Thursday the 12th, Senator McCoy will continue on with events in Alliance, Chadron, Valentine, and O'Neill.

On Friday the 13th, the 20 city tour will move into Norfolk, Wayne, South Sioux City, and conclude in West Point. McCoy will be at the Wayne Public Library from 10:15-10:45 for part of the Chamber Coffee.
