This could be your Lap

Posted: 17 September, 2013

This adult female cat was named Maude because of her very loud, outspoken voice. (She even looks a little like Bea Arthur in this picture) She was found in Laurel, has been de-clawed, spayed is FIV negative and
has had all of her shots. Maude needs a new home with a comfortable lap to sit on.
To adopt Maude or any of the other animals waiting for a new home, please call 402-369-6030.
Dogs and Cats get allergies too. They itch and lick while you’re sneezing and blowing your nose. Stop at the Wayne Vet Clinic, they have good old and great new remedies to help fido and fluffy manage this allergy season.
Tenderheart Animal Rescue + Sanctuary Pet of the Week is brought to you by The Wayne Vet Clinic.
You can find Tenderheart Animal Rescue + Sanctuary on facebook and on the web at
You can listen to the Pet of the Week interview on BIG RED COUNTRY 104.9 at 10am each Wednesday morning and on Country 1590 KTCH at 2:30pm every Wednesday afternoon.

The Tenderheart Animal Rescue + Sanctuary Story
Compelled by the loss of a 20 year companion, Renee Jacobsen founded Tenderheart Animal Rescue + Sanctuary in hopes of providing the same love and affinity to other less fortunate animals. A true no-kill animal sanctuary, Tenderheart Animal Rescue operates as a private, non-profit organization supported by the generosity of the community of Wayne Nebraska, federal grants and the devotion of unpaid volunteers. We strive to provide community education, promote rehabilitating adoptions and responsible pet ownership, while providing refuge and sanctuary to those animals who might otherwise be denied a second chance at life.
