Chlorination of Wayne Water Continues
Posted: 31 October, 2013
Chlorination of the City of Wayne water system was suggested by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, following the October 4th tornado. Subsequent water sampling and testing has determined the need for the chlorination to be continued for further purification of the community’s water. Beginning October 31, 2013, the City Water Dept. will begin adding chorine to the water system. This water treatment will continue for 2-3 weeks. There is no need for any water customers to change their normal water usage or drinking habits during this time.
