Wayne State College Orchestra Performs Tomorrow

Nearly 50 Wayne State students and surrounding community members will perform in the fall orchestra concert tomorrow at 3 p.m in the Peterson Fine Arts Ramsey Theater.


Orchestra members will perform a variety of exciting works of composers from around the world. The concert will include "Sound Innovations Fanfare" by Robert Sheldon, "Andalucia Suite" by Ernesto Lecuona, "Marche Slave" by Peter Tchaikovsky, and "The Great Gate of Kiev from Pictures at an Exhibition" by Modeste Moussorgsky.

The Wayne State Orchestra includes strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion and performs for the public each semester.
